Best of the West Productions, LLC is an award-winning outdoor video production company that started in 2003. It began with interests in long range hunting using a Remington Sendero and Leupold scope and later Cooper/Huskemaw rifle system with Berger Hunting Bullets. Along with a Pro Staff of expert shooters, the shows have guest hunters that demonstrate the effectiveness of this shooting system at extreme ranges. Video Production Staff
- Founder/Executive Producer Jack Peterson has been doing outdoor video since 1999 and has had television programs on Versus, Pursuit, MAN, MEN, Sportsman Channel, Outdoor Channel and WildTV (Canada).
- Matt Taggart joins Best of the West as editor bringing experience from film and industrial video work.
- Nate Robertson is an award-winning filmmaker and on our team as Director of Photography. He is head of our cameramen and responsible for cameras, lighting and framing. But he doesn't just stop there - he is also director, writer, editor and sound designer. Nate has a Bachelor's in Digital Media Production and Associate's in Musical Performance.
- Noah Layton assists the production team of Best of the West as a special segment editor, visual effects designer. As a classmate of Brandon's at Central Washington University, Noah also has strength in film and video production as well as a visual effects compositor.
- Jasen Hansen is a cameraman and story editor. He has a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism
